Place yourself in a soft sea breeze, the smell of saltwater, the gentle crash of the waves against the shorelines-- a perfectly scenic seaside romance may come to mind. This Wedding Wednesday, we introduce Megan and Brandon as we feature a love story that will make any seafaring heart swoon.

Megan's search for the perfect was a lengthy process. She found herself falling down a rabbit hole of various wedding dress styles with each gown she tried on. "As I tried on each dress, they became more and more beautiful," said Megan.

As exhausting as the search may be, trying on various looks and styles can often help a bride discover what she really wants to see herself in. Although Megan had stepped into her first bridal shop expecting to find a lace dress, she later found her love for detailed beadwork.

Among the variety of gown choices that surrounded Megan, Style #2209 from Casablanca Bridal's Magnolia Charm Collection romantically stole away her attention, "The Casablanca dress was amazing and exactly what I was looking for. The look I received from my family when I walked out of the dressing room showed that they thought so as well. The beautiful beadwork, the belt, and low back fit were just the way I wanted. I knew right then it was the dress my husband would love and I wanted to walk down the aisle in."

The stunning sheath number had stolen the bride's heart.

Together since 2011, Megan and Brandon stuck together long after college, with the fortune of finding dream jobs just 30 minutes away from each other in Maryland.

On July 2015, Megan and Brandon attended a family cruise where the unsuspecting bride-to-be was asked the question of her lifetime at the stern of a cruise ship with a romantically stunning sunset as the backdrop. The wedding was soon set for September 3, 2016.

Megan's beachside wedding comprised of powder blue with pastel lavenders, mimicking the hues of the sky over the sea as dawn breaks. For an added touch of personality, the groomsmen sported striped American flag socks under their navy blue formalwear, creating a fun and retro striped-sailor look.

Even with every detail of her nautical-inspired wedding falling through like a perfect sea breeze, Megan's ultimate goal was to have an unforgettable wedding day, filled with warm memories.

"My advice to other brides would be to enjoy your wedding day, getting ready with your bridal party and then after your ceremony with your new husband; take pictures, look around, laugh and of course, kiss (especially for the pictures). Ask for help when itΓÇÖs necessary, todayΓÇÖs the day where you donΓÇÖt want to pretend you can handle it all. Finally, stop and look at everything you have created with each other, remember that everyone attending is there to celebrate you and your love," Megan shares.
