Milly’s family knew that Style 1975 was the perfect wedding dress for her before she even laid eyes on it herself!
“I did not have any mirrors in my actual dressing room, so I didn’t know how it looked as soon as I got it on. I had to walk out of my fitting room across the bridal salon to where my family and friends were sitting.”
“I saw my group’s reaction before I actually ever saw the dress, and I think their initial reaction sold me before I ever even glanced in the mirror! As soon as I saw myself, I just remember thinking, ‘Wow, this is sexy!’ It was beautiful, sparkly in all the right places, hugged my curves perfectly, and the lace was perfect!”
Milly rocked gorgoeus Style 1975, the ideal lace wedding dress to complement this breathtaking bride’s bohemian glam wedding day!
Milly and Adam celebrated their 10 year anniversary before saying “I do.” The two of them first met right before high school, where the love story of their lives began.
“Adam and I met the summer before my freshman year of high school… at a popular summer hangout called ‘The Wave Pool.’ I was swimming and laying out with friends, and he was the cute life guard! We ended up going to the same high school. He never left me alone the entire time we were in school together, although we didn’t start dating until my senior year.”
“Six years into our relationship, we were blessed with our first son, Lennox. He proposed to me when our son was one. He invited some close friends over, sent me and a girlfriend out shopping, and while I was gone he arranged about 800 lit candles on our back-porch spelling, ‘Marry Me,’ and I found them lit, with rose petals covering the porch and an Ed Sheeran song playing!”
“I started planning the wedding almost the next day, and after I bought the dress, had my bachelorette party planned and so forth, I found out I was pregnant with our second boy, Aiker. We decided to postpone the wedding another year. By the time we got married, we had already celebrated our 10 year anniversary!”
Casablanca Bride Milly gives her sound advice to all brides-to-be: "Do not get bombarded with the pressures of what you think, or what other people think is traditional. DO WHAT YOU WANT! It will make the day truly yours.”
