How did you two meet?
“It was my freshman year at Clarion University, and one of my first weekends there! Me and a couple of friends decided to venture out and go to a party. Someone told us there was a party at the “football house,” so that’s where we decided to go. I remember being nervous and not knowing what to expect going to this party. I had no idea what I was getting into, and definitely didn’t think I was going to meet my future husband.”
“As I walk into the house, the first person I see Is Ren hanging out in the kitchen with a huge smile on his face, laughing and talking to one of his friends. He then notices me and yells out at me. After that night, we started to see each other around campus and hung out with the same group of friends. Half way through my first semester, we were boyfriend and girlfriend, and the rest was history!”
What’s the proposal story?
“It was Easter weekend and both of our families were visiting from Pennsylvania. Ren’s family had a beach house at Carolina Beach for the week, so we spent the night there. That morning we woke up and had coffee and donuts on the porch with Ren’s family. It was a chill day where we hung out and just enjoyed each other’s company."
“We went to the boardwalk, walked around for a little, and then Ren asked to go on the beach to take a picture. They had Ren and I go first and take a picture together. Right after we took the picture together on the beach, Ren turned me around and was on one knee with a ring in his hands. I was surprised and was shaking with excitement. Everyone was cheering and taking pictures.”
