Casablanca Custom Wedding Dress: Style 2345 Vienna + Buttons & Illusion Back
Needless to say, we’re suckers for a good customization of a Casablanca Bridal wedding dress. When we saw this wedding, we were instantly head-over-heels for Casablanca Bride Michelle’s custom creation! By adjusting the shape of Style 2345 Vienna’s original keyhole back and adding illusion lace and a row of buttons, Michelle took this vintage-classic design to the next level. Check out that before and after!
As if JUST this custom lace wedding dress isn’t pretty enough, Michelle and Brian’s wedding, captured flawlessly by Alyssa Christine Photography, is majorly stunning. The eye-catching urban vintage theme features light pinks, dark reds, natural greens and whites amongst a stunning rustic backdrop. Old bricks, blooming bouquets and flowing greenery all came together on this bright fall day to make sure these two lovebirds were wed in the most beautiful setting.

Please describe your experience of saying “yes” to the dress!
“I bought this dress at a small boutique store called In White Bridal located in my hometown of Lancaster City. My engagement was just over 4 months long so I was hoping to find something off the rack and sure enough, I found a winner! It was a few sizes too large, but thankfully I have a mom who is fantastic at sewing and did all of my alterations in time for the wedding.”
Tell us your love story!
"We met while volunteering in the youth ministry at our church. We've spent a lot of time on the top deck of parking garages. We became official, had our first kiss, and got engaged on parking garages."
What’s your favorite thing about your husband?
"He is the most confident yet humble person I know. He opens doors, walks on the street side of sidewalk, and always strives to show his love for me in new ways."
Do you have any advice to other brides?
"Build in moments throughout your wedding day to slow down and breathe. My bridesmaids & I wrapped up hair & make-up with 30 minutes to spare before needing to be at the venue so we went to a coffee shop. During our ceremony, we had our officiant give us a few moments to turn around and take in all of our friends & family who joined us to celebrate. We took a few minutes to actually eat food before mingling with our guests. We snuck away during dinner to get a few special shots during the sunset. It helped to slow down the day and let us fully enjoy every moment. Then during our honeymoon, we took time to write down memories from the weekend to further cement it in our minds!"
