Luxurious Wedding at Disney Yacht Club: Casablanca Customized Style 2248 + Cap Sleeves and Keyhole Back
Ever dream of getting married in in front of a gorgeous gazebo with a lakeside view? Justine and Jonathan made this dream a reality on their magical wedding day at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort!
Justine’s original #CasablancaCustomized design perfectly complements the gorgeous royal blues and bright pinks that make up this luxuriously laid-back celebration of love. Beautifully captured by Sarah Hedden Photography, Justine and Jonathan’s wedding day is a joyful sight for sore eyes.
At the beginning of her wedding dress search, Justine was more nervous than excited. When she tried on Style 2248, she found herself trying it on again… and again… and again!
“I was terrified! I never imagined myself getting married or having to pick out a wedding dress. The gown I chose was the first one I tried on and I went back to it 3 times before finalizing it as ‘The Dress!’”
Justine added her own personal spin to Style 2248 by customizing the entire top of the gown, replacing spaghetti straps with beautifully lacy cap sleeves and an open keyhole back.
“We were able to customize it to my body and the style that I wanted. Everyone at Debra’s Bridal Shop at the Avenues in Jacksonville was so helpful! I was scared to make such a big decision but, in the end, when I saw the final dress I knew I had made the right decision and chose the perfect one for me.”
Justine had been working with Jonathan’s sister for two whole years before the happy couple crossed paths.
“She had a feeling we would get along after she and I had been working together for 2 years, and she was right! She set us up at a Jacksonville Jaguars football game and we hit it off right away.”
The bride’s favorite part of the wedding? The first look!
“We initially weren’t going to do a first look, to keep tradition of seeing the bride when I walk down the aisle, but our awesome photographer said it would probably work best with the lighting to get it done before the ceremony.”
“It was the perfect time for John and I to see each other along before the chaos of the wedding started. I definitely am happy we ended up doing a first look for just the two of us.”
Justine’s sound advice for other brides is simply to – “Keep it fun! It’s YOUR WEDDING! Remember to have a good time!”
“Also, hire an amazing photographer, like Sarah Hedden! When you look at your photos, those memories come flooding back to you and it’s like you relive the entire day again.”
“I would do it all over again tomorrow if I could.”
