Bridal Trend Report: Colorful Dresses
Color has been a trend that has begun to slip into the bridal market for the past few seasons, and we love it. Color, whether itΓÇÖs silver blush, mint, or blue, adds personality to a gown and is often not soon forgotten because itΓÇÖs not common to purchase a gown that is in a different color than white, ivory or champagne. With that said, we are excited to offer our brides with an array of dresses that are a little different and trendy.
We have three colors, aside from Champagne, White and Ivory that we try to showcase each year, and that is silver blush, blue and mint. We have three blue dresses that weΓÇÖd love to highlight here today.
The first one is style 2140, from our Fall 2013 collection. This beautiful mermaid gown has a strapless sweetheart neckline and illusion back. The gown features assorted beaded appliqués delicately sewn onto a lace overlay. Clusters of 3-dimensional shells and crystal beads are sprinkled throughout the gown and a scalloped trim finishes the hemline. With its dark navy blue beading, this gown is perfect for a winter wedding.
The next gown, also from our Fall 2013 collection is a stunning ball gown that has tieres of handkerchief layers with a mix of both non beaded and beaded lace appliqués. The bodice is made up of Chantilly Lace.
This next gown exudes a beautiful Capri blue throughout. This full a-line gown with a princess sweetheart neckline and sweetheart back neckline shape has a bodice that adorns beaded lace and a eyelash fringe scallop trim.
New weΓÇÖd like to showcase a couple silver blush gowns we have, all from our newest collection designed for Spring 2016.
The first up is what weΓÇÖd like to call the ΓÇÿPrimroseΓÇÖ. Primrose is a modern fit-n-flare gown with sleek lines complimented by the ornately beaded back. The beaded sweetheart neckline adds a touch of sparkle to the front of this jaw dropping gown.
Next up is a gown we also have available with a corseted back for our classic fit sizes. This blush pink gives off a dainty look to this fit n flare gown. FreesiaΓÇÖs breathtaking fit-n-flare silhouette has a bodice with light ruching that makes a flawlessly dramatic transition into the opaque tulle skirt. Exquisitely beaded tank top straps that extend from the sweetheart neckline, and a low back with a sweet detachable ribbon sash, complete the look.
The last color weΓÇÖd like to highlight is a creamy mint, perfect for the fashion forward bride. WeΓÇÖd like to highlight one dress in particular from our Spring 2015 collection, gown style 2188. This tulle ball gown has a bodice that is covered in beautiful beadwork of Swarovski Crystals, rhinestones, opal crystals, opal rhinestones, pearls and embroidery.
When wanting to up your dress game and do something different, going with an off the wall color is always a good idea.
