Here at Casablanca Bridal, we pride ourselves in creating custom wedding gowns, tailored for an all-around perfect fit. Sometimes a bride will find herself stepping into a bridal boutique with a vision in mind, confident in finding a dress that meets all of her needs. After trying on several different types of wedding gowns, a bride may become discouraged, left to believe that perhaps her creativity is too unique to be found on a rack. With Casablanca Bridal, this is never the case.

(Casablanca Bride) Meredith Barr walked into Plume Bridal knowing exactly what designer she had in mind. During her determined search, she ran into styles 2186 and 1975, falling in love with each for their own design elements. The modern and relaxed V-neckline of 1975 left Meredith smitten, while the non-beaded lace elements of 2186 were a perfect fit for her vision.

However, With her wedding elopement in Maui in mind, Meredith wanted to remove the illusion back of Style 2186 to show off a bit of skin. With the guidance of a Casablanca Customized consultation, Meredith combined all of her favorite design elements from both lace wedding dresses to create the dress of her dreams.

"It made me feel confident, sexy, and ready to marry my love. I couldnΓÇÖt be happier with the outcome."

Inviting only their closest friends and family, Meredith and Dakota planned an intimate ceremony by the shoreline of White Rock Beach in Maui. The details of her wedding day were magically sweet and simple. With just a couple leis and a lively ombre wedding bouquet, Meredith already had everything she needed for the start of her happily ever after.
After all, the breathtaking tropical setting created a picturesque backdrop for the couple's portraits.

When it comes to wedding planning, Meredith encourages future brides to follow their hearts:
"Plan the wedding you and your husband want! We planned an intimate wedding to spend with our family and (our daughter) Leighton despite what our friends at home were telling us, and we couldnΓÇÖt have enjoyed our time more."

Meredith's favorite moment from her wedding day was "spending a couple minutes after the ceremony with my husband and daughter. Everything felt right in the world in those moments."

Whether your wedding vision includes a quiet getaway or a bustling ballroom, the greatest takeaway from this loves story is to follow your heart and to focus on your family. When you surround yourself with the kind of company that matters most, then all of the minute details that may have originally stressed you out no longer matter in comparison.
When asked what her favorite part of her husband is, Meredith mentions: "HeΓÇÖs so ambitious. He definitely helps me strive to be the best."
