What makes them a strong a woman
Additionally, we wanted to share some sneak peaks of their beautiful weddings and how they brought their vision to life for their BIG DAY!
The second bride we will be featuring is Mrs. Carlina Gonzales! We are so honored to highlight her love story and her beautiful heart as a wife, mother, and Casablanca Bride!

How did you meet your husband?
“I was a flight attendant based in Washington D.C at the age of 23. My husband was attending college at The Naval Academy. We had both attended high school together in Tucson, AZ but never interacted with each other. Through a mutual friend of ours she had suggested meeting up to celebrate Halloween together since we were all in the area. I was hesitant at first, but ultimately decided to go with my friend. Halloween is one of my favorite holidays and I love to dress up. At the time my husband had injured his leg and had needed a scooter to get around. When I first saw him, all he had on was a red hoodie and blue jeans. I immediately thought: “wow how lame, he didn’t even dress up.” But then, as his friends brought over his scooter and he placed something in the basket in front, it clicked! He had dressed up as Elliot, the boy from E.T. and E.T. was in the basket. I laughed with hearts in my eyes! We went on to have a great night in D.C. and the rest is now history. Crazy to think our paths would cross years later!”
How did you select your perfect wedding venue?
“For the wedding planning process, we made it as simple as possible since we didn’t have family nearby to help with our 1-year-old daughter. We were a team when it came to searching for everything we needed. We got married in Maryland at the Liriodendron Mansion on October 2022. Everything about our wedding was wonderful. A lot of family came from the West Coast which was unexpected, but we loved it. Having our daughter be our flower girl was the cherry on top. My husband’s vows also melted my heart! I’m a big fan of Disney, so when he incorporated romantic Disney lines from my favorite movies, I was cheesin’ from ear-to-ear. I am very blessed, and thankful to call him mine!"

How did Casablanca bridal make your wedding day special? Why did you choose to “celebrate forever” in one of our gowns?
“My dress made me feel like a princess in a fairytale! Style 2455 Mae fit me like a glove and looked so romantic. I was in love with the detachable off-the-shoulder sleeves and don’t get me started on the slit! It was romantic with just a bit of sexy.”
“My dress made me feel like a princess in a fairytale!”

What drew you to our company? Was it that our company values aligned with yours?
“Casablanca Bridal fit the vision and style I wanted by offering an elegant dress that didn’t restrict me from movement.”
What makes you a strong woman and how do you empower yourself and the women around you?
“God and my family make me strong. I am empowered by my daughter, books, and always being positive. I empower those around me by uplifting them with kind words of endearment.”
“God and my family make me strong.”

Thank you, Carlina for participating in this interview! You represent our brand beautifully and you are a perfect example of what it means to “celebrate forever”. We would also like to thank your husband for his service and dedication to our country! Wishing you many years of love, laughter, and precious memories.
