Erin on Breaking Barriers in Bridal and Embracing Confidence

Erin Marley Klay has become an essential part of the Casablanca Bridal family — not just as a model, but as a woman whose presence embodies everything our brand believes about beauty, confidence, and representation. For several years, Erin has brought our gowns to life with a grace that feels both powerful and deeply personal. She doesn’t just wear a dress; she transforms it, showing brides everywhere what it looks like to step into a gown with confidence, comfort, and authenticity. As the face of so many Spring 2026 designs, Erin reflects the very heart of this collection: intentional, expressive, and beautifully inclusive. Her voice, her journey, and her strength make her a true muse for Casablanca Bridal, and we’re honored to share more of her story.

When Erin was just 18, she knew she wanted to model, but the road into the industry required more than ambition. “I started posting frequently to Twitter and Instagram,” she recalls. “I needed to garner enough attention to prove my place within the industry and find an agency that would sign me. That’s exactly what happened! My agent scouted me on Instagram and we’ve been doing amazing work together ever since.”

For Erin, representation has always been at the heart of her work. “Every teenage girl has a Pinterest board of their future wedding; I was no exception. Unfortunately, plus size bridal inspo was seriously lacking, and I remember jumping through mental hoops trying to imagine how certain styles would look on me,” she says. “I love the idea that maybe, somewhere, a plus-sized teenage girl just like I was has a Pinterest board with some of my bridal modeling photos.”

When she first modeled for Casablanca Bridal, Erin admits it was a transformative moment. “I’d never worn a wedding dress before and it’s something I never gave myself the grace of believing I’d feel beautiful in. What I love about modeling with Casablanca is I never feel like the token curve model. I’m on set because body diversity is valued. It truly rewired my brain at the time and opened my mind to the idea that I can be the representation I needed growing up.”

She also admires the brand’s commitment to intentional design for all body types. “Casablanca always makes sure the styles I’m wearing are actually made to look great on curves, they’re not just haphazardly sized up gowns. That’s what I feel is truly special—when you know care was taken in tailoring the dress so it fits multiple body types at any size.”

One gown from a recent, unreleased shoot left a deep impression. “It’s the first one I could see myself in for my own wedding one day—lace, a leg slit, strapless with ribbon sleeves, and a fitted bodice. Truly the dress of a princess, and something my most insecure younger self would have never picked for me.”

Her advice for curvy brides? “Try on everything—yes, even the strapless one. Don’t be pigeonholed into ‘safe’ dresses. Throw on the sexy gowns!” For Erin, modeling isn’t just a career, it’s a mission. “Experiencing life is not a privilege you gain by being thin—it’s a right. On your wedding day, when you’re feeling like the most beautiful woman in the room, know you earned that confidence. It’s the ultimate act of defiance and freedom.”

Erin’s journey is a reminder of why representation matters — not as a trend, but as a truth. Brides deserve to see themselves reflected in the gowns they dream about, and Erin helps us make that vision real. Her confidence and compassion reaffirm what Casablanca Bridal stands for: design that celebrates every body, storytelling that honors every bride, and collections built to empower rather than conform. As we look ahead, we remain inspired by women like Erin who show future brides what is possible when beauty meets self-belief. Her presence lights the way and we are endlessly grateful to have her as part of our story.
