Intimate Italian Destination Wedding With Priscilla and Chris
This Wedding Wednesday, we have a special treat for you! Our #CasablanaBride Priscilla, recently tied the knot to her groom Chris at an incredibly intimate wedding in Capri, Italy. There may have hardly been anyone else around aside from the bride, the groom and the photographer. However, luckily, we can all live a little bit enviously and vicariously through these amazing photographs courtesy of Vangelis Photography.
Capri is an island off the coast of Naples in Italy. Though this bride and groom are origially from the United States, they decided to have a destination wedding at the Capri Wine Hotel here. Did you know that these days, one in five weddings is a destination wedding? The ceremony occurred amidst lush floral gardens and lemon groves, which provided a gorgeous, colorful backdrop for the Casablanca Bridal gown to really pop against.
The style that Priscilla chose is our ever-popular 1975. This gown features a luxe satin lining that is overlain with a Point D'espirit subtly dotted lace. Beaded lace appliques are applied to the top, and then Swarovski Crystals, pearls, beads and silver-backed sequins all act as subtle accents. The deep V-shaped back is a huge draw, and the thin spaghetti straps frame it so beautifully.
Following their ceremony, the couple embarked on a private boat tour of the surrounding waters of Capri, including the Faraglioni Rocks. The backdrop of the ocean is unreal for these gorgeous photos. Everything about this wedding location is just unbelievably romantic and beautiful, and we are so happy that Priscilla felt that Casablanca Bridal was the perfect sophisticated choice to complement all the other aspects of her wedding day.
