Real Bride Customizes Her Dream Bohemian x Gatsby Inspired Wedding Gown
Abby's journey to finding her dream wedding dress began at Casablanca Bridal’s Flagship store in Newport Beach. The store's inviting atmosphere made her feel comfortable right away. Located in the beautiful Crystal Cove area, it set the perfect backdrop for her shopping experience. Abby had the pleasure of working with Narjess, the Store Manager, who personalized the experience and made it her favorite bridal boutique yet.
Abby discovered Casablanca Bridal through Instagram and local research. Her dress shopping experience was exceptional, with each dress she tried on having something special about it.
“It was such a great experience. I felt very comfortable in each dress and they all fit so well, but once I saw the material I liked on one of them, I knew it was what I wanted to use if I designed a custom dress with Casablanca Bridal.”
Although she visited five other boutiques afterward, she couldn't stop thinking about the Casablanca dress material. On her second appointment, she decided to design two custom dresses from that material.
Abby customized both her ceremony and reception dresses. She was inspired by a "Bohemian x Gatsby" vibe, leading her to add side-arm beaded straps for extra glam. The ceremony dress featured a beautiful peacock and lashes hemline and train, while the reception dress was designed for dancing with a high slit and corset top.
“One of my favorite parts was receiving the sketch of my dresses after I bought them. It was something unique that none of the other bridal boutiques offered, and helped bring my vision to life,” said Abby. “Then entire process for both dresses was as good as I imagined it would be, and am very grateful I had such a wonderful experience.”
Saying "yes" to the dress was a magical moment for Abby. She was ecstatic and skipped around all day after making her purchase.

Abby married her husband at Polen Farm in Cincinnati, Ohio, with their guests staying at Hotel Covington in Kentucky, creating a fun "dual state" wedding. On her wedding day, Abby felt like a princess, and the reactions to her dresses made her incredibly happy. Her husband was moved to tears when he saw her walk down the aisle and loved both of her dresses. Abby’s experience with Casablanca Bridal was everything she imagined and more.
