Real Bride: Samantha Harley x LoveStories
A wedding day is full of so many beautiful moments: the bride’s dramatic entrance, the groom's tears, their first kiss as husband and wife, and their first dance. But there is one moment that truly outshines them all: the exchanging of vows.
When two people boldly state their devotion and love for each other, we believe there is nothing more powerful! And that is why we are so honored to feature Mrs. Samantha Herrington as one of our Casablanca Brides. Her precious wedding video is also featured on Love Stories TV and linked here! Her husband’s vows left us with tears in our eyes and we just couldn’t help but want to share this moment with you!

They say long distance is the true test for a relationship, but for Samantha and her husband Grant, it only made them stronger! How did Casablanca Bridal make your wedding day special?
“Casablanca Bridal gave me the opportunity to make my dress one of a kind and EXACTLY what I have dreamed about since I was little. Every girl dreams of picking out their wedding dress and they have so many options for any personality and body type. I loved the vastness of what they have to offer.”
What drew you to our company?
“How customizable everything was! I had a very specific look in mind and when I found out that I could piece together different dresses and parts, I was 100% sold. I also loved every dress I tried on from Casablanca.”

How did you meet your husband? When and how did he propose?
“I went on a mission trip to Haiti and he was a leader there on an internship. I was baptized that week and met my future husband - I just didn't know it yet! He then came to Kansas City for a football game and we knew at that point we wanted to be together for a long time.”
“He planned a going away party for me as I was getting ready to leave for Florida on my first travel nurse assignment. He was living in Texas and I thought things seemed very odd that day. When I came down the stairs at my grandparents' house, I was greeted by so many close friends and family. As I was giving my sister a hug, she turned me around and he was on his knee proposing. It could not have been any better!”
Please share your dress shopping experience. How did you know you found your dream dress? What qualities of your wedding dress made it special and unique?
“My dress shopping experience was so good that it made me want to become a bridal consultant. Something White Bridal Boutique in Kansas City, Missouri way outdid themselves! They not only supported me, but also empowered, inspired, and taught me while I was there. I knew that once I could mix and match items, it was going to be my dream dress. My favorite part of my dress was how long the train was. It was so dreamy! I also loved the beaded straps and low-cut back. I could not have dreamt up a better, more beautiful dress for my day!”

What does "celebrate forever" mean to you? How has this saying been expressed in your marriage?
“To me, "celebrate forever" means to celebrate the highs and lows always. Ride the highs when they are high and get through the lows hand-in-hand and celebrate when you're out of it. We have expressed this in our marriage by trying to serve one another daily. We also try to make each other laugh constantly and I love that about us.”
What advice do you have for a bride-to-be and newly married couples? What is the secret to keeping your marriage alive?
“Constantly seeking to know one another. Ask hard questions often - daily even. Tell each other everything you can think of. Even what you may deem small - tell your spouse. Make the decision daily to lay down your life for them and above all else, keep a relationship with the Lord first.”

Final thoughts from Samantha: “I love Casablanca Bridal and I think I might have to talk my husband into renewing our vows in 10 years so that I can pick out another beautiful dress from you!”
