Symphonic Romance: A Rustic Bohemian Wedding
Happy #WeddingWednesday from Casablanca Bridal! Today we are sharing the rustic bohemian wedding details of Olivia and Clay Allen's wedding. This week's love story even features a romantic rhapsody composed by the groom himself! Unplug and tune in with us!
While on the hunt for the perfect exposed back gown, Olivia instantly fell in love with the fit and details of Style #2213. "I loved that it showed off my back without making me feel bare. And the train! I never imagined I'd love beading so much. I tried on several more after that, but I couldn't shake the dress I'd already fallen in love with".
The wedding gown's keyhole back and lightly beaded and embroidered tulle train were the perfect match for Olivia's rustic boho wedding. On the day of her wedding, she wore an adorable floral crown with the rest of her bridesmaids, while their bright red floor length gowns added the perfect amount of vibrant pop to her wedding colors.
Much like many fateful love stories are told-- Clay and Olivia crossed paths many times during their music studies but hadn't officially met until after their graduation.
During the point in time where Olivia had become a music teacher while Clay was in his second year of grad studies at UNT. A mutual friend that had attended the same undergraduate university as the pair soon became the cupid of the story-- Soon after, Olivia and Allen went on their first date at the Dallas Symphony.
About nine months later, knowing he had met the love of his life, Clay Allen was ready to pop the big question. "On a Monday night, after I'd worked 12 hours, I walked into a room full of flowers, candles and music to my best friend on his knee, ready to propose."
Olivia's most favorite moment from her wedding day was receiving her one-of-a-kind wedding gift from her husband. "Clay just started his doctoral degree in composition this fall at University of Colorado, Boulder, and he wrote me a piece and a poem!"
Clay recorded the composition with a string quartet from his campus. He also had the score of the musical piece printed and bound so Olivia could always keep her song close.
When it comes to sharing advice with future brides, Olivia is all about enjoying every special moment. ΓÇ£DonΓÇÖt sweat it! YouΓÇÖre getting married! Spend the day with your loved ones and walk down the aisle to the person of your dreams. ThenΓÇöhave FUN! Eat that food, drink those drinks and dance! At the end of the night, it doesnΓÇÖt matter if your hair was wrong or if a vendor made a mistake."
