Suburban Sentiments: A Warm Toned City Wedding

True love has no bounds! Patrick and StephanieΓÇÖs love story is touching our hearts today. Beautifully captured by Maple & Elm Photography, the affection this pair shares is tangible!

Once upon a time, Stephanie began her search for THE dress. After trying on nothing but ballgowns, Stephanie was convinced sheΓÇÖd walk down the aisle donning the classic style ΓÇô until Casablanca Bridal Flagship introduced her to Style 2300 Maya!

ΓÇ£I decided to try on dresses other than ball gowns just to see what I thought. I described to the consultant what I had in mind, and she brought me a dress they had just gotten in the store. Unfortunately, the sample size didnΓÇÖt fit me, but the consultant brought me a dress that was similar in style. I LOVED it! It felt more ΓÇÿmeΓÇÖ than the ballgowns I had tried on earlier that day.ΓÇ¥

ΓÇ£I did feel strange about the fact that I hadnΓÇÖt tried on ΓÇÿtheΓÇÖ dress, so I asked my friend Michelle to try it on for me. It was gorgeous, and I knew it was the dress that I would feel like my best self in on our wedding day.ΓÇ¥

ΓÇ£It was a leap of faith to buy a dress that I didnΓÇÖt even try on, but it was well worth it!ΓÇ¥

By the time Patrick and Stephanie crossed paths, the majority of their friends were married with children. Date after date with the wrong people discouraged the pair, who had yet to find each other. One day, StephanieΓÇÖs cousin came to her with a fateful proposition.

ΓÇ£I was working with my cousin Kyle at the time, and he was aware of my love life (or lack thereof). He mentioned a guy in a business networking group he was a part of who he thought I might like.ΓÇ¥

The two met up for their first date at a cozy gastropub. Stephanie recalls the experience fondly.

ΓÇ£This was the first date I had ever been on where I felt 100% myself. It was the best feeling, and I knew there was something different about the connection I had with Patrick.ΓÇ¥

ΓÇ£After years of disappointment and never finding ΓÇÿmy person,ΓÇÖ I was cautiously optimistic that there might be something there. I am so thankful to God that after a few months of dating it became clear that this was different. 14 months to the day after our first date, Patrick asked me to be his wife.ΓÇ¥

"He is the most genuine, loyal, caring person I know. There is no one who I feel safer with than him. Well worth the wait!ΓÇ¥

StephanieΓÇÖs advice for brides-to-be is ΓÇô just be yourself!
