Woodland Elegance Wedding with Jennifer & Eric

In honor of Wedding Wednesday, today we are showcasing the beautiful wedding of #CasablancaBride Jennifer, and her new husband Eric. Permeated with a gorgeous woodland elegance throughout, this North Carolina ceremony is absolutely gorgeous, both in the execution and the story behind it.

Jennifer and Eric met when Eric approached her at a local bar's Wednesday night line dancing. Rather than asking her to dance or saying hello, Eric took a little more unusual action: he offered her a fruit snack, prompting a line about taking candy from strangers and lauching an evening of casual conversation. After walking her to her car that night, Eric returned to his group of friends inside and decisively told them he had just met his future wife. While they dated 9 months prior to their engagement, it only took Jennifer 3 weeks to know that she was going to marry him as well.

This lovely Casablanca Bride selected style 2120, a mermaid gown with a sweetheart neckline and detachable sheer cap sleeves. With our #CasablancaCustomized abilities, Jennifer was able to lower the back for a more dramatic feel, narrow the cap sleeves, and add a rhinestone belt to complete the dress. This was the gown that Jennifer walked down the aisle in on her May 7th, 2016 wedding date at Il Bella Gardens in Albemarle, North Carolina.

Jennifer and Eric opted not to do a first look prior to the ceremony, though they did have a special moment where he was blindfolded and they were able to have a couple of moments to talk and laugh before walking down the aisle. This helped calm nerves, but allowed for an incredible reaction of raw emotion when their eyes met from opposite ends of the aisle. However, Jennifer did do a first look with her dad, in honor of their special bond
