Describe your experience of saying ΓÇ£yes to the dress!
ΓÇ£A few of my best friends, my godmother, my sister, and my mom joined me to search for the perfect dress. Suite Bridal in Atlanta was only the second store I visited, and the attendants were amazing in helping me find a dress that matched my venue and vision for my wedding. I originally did not think I would want such a form fitting dress, but knew my Casablanca dress was the one when I put it on!ΓÇ¥
ΓÇ£As my mom told me later, it was the only dress I wanted to hug goodbye I loved it so much! I didnΓÇÖt want to leave it in the store! The dress combined many of the features I was looking for in a dress, and I could immediately envision it at Lowndes Grove Plantation, my venue!"
Tell us your love story!
ΓÇ£Steve and I met in Ann Arbor, Michigan while attending the University of Michigan. Although both in the same professional fraternity, we never spoke until introduced by my best friend Kelsey at a ΓÇÿbarn dance.' Steve graduated before I did, and we endured over two years of long distance before he joined me in Washington, DC.ΓÇ¥
ΓÇ£He proposed at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. after we saw the Swan Lake ballet, and surprised me again with a group of our friends and sisters at a restaurant after!ΓÇ¥
What is your favorite thing about your husband?
ΓÇ£His sense of humor and intelligence.ΓÇ¥
What is your favorite moment from your wedding?
ΓÇ£Steve and I wrote our own vows for each other. I was so stressed and anxious before the wedding, and Steve opened his vows with a funny phrase he greets me with every time I come home. It immediately made me burst out laughing, and all the stress I had before the wedding melted away! I knew then that I was the luckiest girl in the world to be marrying him!ΓÇ¥
